Our theme this month is Fishing. We will NOT have a Troop Meeting
on Tuesday August 13th, due to Summer Camp. Our Troop Meeting on Tuesday August 20th will
be at the Joan Kroc Center, located at 6845 University Ave. San Diego. We will be meeting
at 6:30 PM and swimming from 7:00 PM to 8:45 PM. The cost is $3.00 for Scouts and $4.00
for adults. Bring a swimsuit and a towel and plan on joining us for some fun.
Our Summer camp this year is set for the week of August 11-17th at
Matuguay Scout Ranch. Talk to SM John Johnson or Mrs. Story if you have any questions.
Summer Camp is replacing our camp-out this month.
COIN COLLECTING MERIT BADGE
We will hold our monthly PARENT/PLC MEETING on Tuesday, August 24 at 7
PM in the SRL Hall. We invite all our Scout parents to attend and find out what is coming
up in our troop.
Troop 800 will be sponsoring the Parish Meet & Greet
on the first Sunday of every month. We will need Scouts to help sell Coffee and Donuts.
This activity will fulfill service hours. Our next Meet & Greet will be Sunday,
August 4th in the SRL Parish SRL Hall at 7 AM. More information at the Troop Meetings.
